FAQ's

How much can I save bottling my own wine?

Each kit makes a minimum of  27 bottles. Cheers adds  $59.29  to the cost of the kit to cover corks, sterilization supplies and our labour making your wine. 13% HST is added to the supplies and labour, but not the kit.

How much time do I have to commit?

On your first visit, you will start your kit. That usually takes less than 15 minutes. Then we look after your wine while it is fermenting. When it's ready in 4 to 6 weeks depending on the kit you choose, we contact you and you return to bottle your wine. Time for this job varies but is usually less than one hour per kit.

Can I bring my old bottles in to bottle my wine?

Used wine bottles are fine as long as they are clean. Rinse well immediately after emptying and store upside down in the box. Old wine left in bottles can grow mould. Mouldy wine bottles will not be allowed because we don't want to introduce  mould into the brewing environment.

You will sterilize and rinse your bottles at one of our bottle washing stations.

Can I make any type of wine?

We offer over 100 different wine kits of all types. However we do not offer sparkling or 'champagne' type wines.
